The Anchanto Story

Anchanto's SaaS Technology and integration with ecosystem players makes online selling and e-commerce logistics simple for everyone. The Anchanto platform is e-commerce ecosystem, enabling and connecting all key players across the globe. Anchanto was established in June 2011 in Singapore with the vision "to give customers an enchanting experience" through our software platform and associated services.

We built our first version of the e-commerce warehouse management system in January 2013 and secured important early customers on this platform. Our customers still faced operational challenges regarding their e-commerce logistics operations and requested us to extend our services to manage their fulfillment. Sensing a market opportunity validated by sizable prospects, we established our first warehouse in Singapore in March 2013.

This move was paramount for the growth of Anchanto as we became a technology company that at the same time ran their own technology to emerge as a leading e-commerce fulfillment player in the region. By the mid of 2014, we secured several e-commerce customers such as Groupon, Levis, Crème Simon, Cluster-Cluster,, and RSI and moved to a larger warehouse.

We also built our very own cross-border e-commerce technology and secured a first of its kind business deal with WND UK, to fulfill orders from Europe to Singapore for customers like ASOS, House of Fraser, Protein World and many more. In December 2014, we optimized our cross-border processing platform and cut manpower by 80% by reducing intermediate processes and scanning requirements, all in just 3 months.

We secured 89 online businesses from Europe and increased our revenue by 30% from the new technology-led business model alone. That same year, we developed a technology on top of our core “Fulfillment by Anchanto” platform, which helped our customers manage their online businesses on marketplaces (Channel Management, which later became We linked their inventory seamlessly onto multiple marketplaces such as Qoo10, Lazada, Zalora, Snapdeal, Flipkart, Shopclues, Amazon, and eBay to push inventory, digital content, promotions and receive customer orders, all in real-time. L'Oréal, 3M, Studio XII and their sub brands are our key Channel Management customers.

In November 2015, we successfully completed a Series-B funding and created an alliance with TSE-listed transcosmos inc. Japan, creating one of the largest e-commerce logistics businesses in the APAC region. transcosmos' current market capitalization is over USD $1 billion. This strategic business alliance will enable us to deliver our clients' products to consumers through e-commerce one-stop service "Know-how with Anchanto's e-commerce fulfillment capabilities." transcosmos will also support clients deploying their own e-commerce operations in the ASEAN market and will co-operate widely with us as a strategic partner in ASEAN and India.

With integrated technology and infrastructure in place, Anchanto delivers exceptional service, world-class solutions, and partnerships that drive value and revenue for clients across all markets in Asia. In 2016, we deployed our e-commerce warehouse management system with established logistic players in over 9 countries in Asia. We also launched in India, Indonesia, and Singapore to enable thousands of merchants to list and manage their inventory and order processing across marketplaces.

Meet the Team

At Anchanto, we believe in leadership by example. Our management team is a diverse group of top managers with many years of extensive experience across a broad set of industries.

Logistics and entrepreneurship are deeply embedded into Vaibhav’s life and family history. Vaibhav’s grandfather started a brick-and-mortar logistics business with trucks in central India in 1945. Today, with learnings from two generations of logistics experience behind him, Vaibhav is creating a niche in the business by blending it with technology for the new digital era. He founded Anchanto in 2011 out of a belief that e-commerce logistics and fulfillment can be made seamless through technology and the right platform. In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Vaibhav oversees Anchanto’s regional business and heads the company strategy.

Vaibhav’s role includes management of marketing, sales, product, talent acquisition, and regional market expansion. Post securing the series B funding and business alliance with transcosmos inc. Japan, Anchanto is poised to expand in the region under his able leadership. Vaibhav has completed his executive education from the Harvard Business School and IIM Kolkata and holds a degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. He spends his spare time dreaming about being a painter and excels at graphic design and arts.

As the Chief of Operations at Anchanto, Abhimanyu develops and implements plans that fulfil the operational infrastructure of the organization. He oversees the execution of effective growth strategies and monitors functions such as Account Management, Product Implementation, Customer Success and Subscription Management.

His responsibilities also include overseeing finance, legal, and administration operations at the Anchanto India Development Centre. His 12 years of professional experience prior to Anchanto comes from the Semiconductor domain where he led significantly big multi-location teams in technology within India and the USA.

Abhimanyu did his executive education from NMIMS Bangalore and holds qualifications in E&TC Engineering. He believes that 'everything is common sense and logic; even Rocket Science', which clearly reflects in the software products that Anchanto has developed.

Since 2011, Julien has been advising Anchanto on various finance matters and the initial business set-up of the group. Following the successful Series A and B funding that was secured in 2014 and 2015 respectively, Julien became the full-time Chief Financial Officer, in charge of the overall finance operations, including communication with the shareholders and investors. Apart from his finance duties, his scope includes legal and administration of daily operations and helping business development with the rest of the management team. Prior to joining Anchanto, Julien held various senior positions in finance, mainly in the software industry and also in the architecture and design business. He has also been involved in Private Equity deals that led to LBO and trade sale exits. Julien holds a Master’s degree from the Marseille Business School in France and executive education from the Harvard Business School. He lives in Singapore from the past 15 years where he enjoys spending free time with his family and two young boys.

As the Co-founder and CTO at Anchanto, Shafique leads the overall architecture, design and development of SelluSeller and Wareo platforms. Shafique has over 18 years of diverse experience in the software development industry, especially in the solution, design, architecture, and implementations of various software products and projects.

Shafique also has extensive experience in web and mobile based software solutions across multiple technologies, and has previously worked across Telecom, Loyalty & Payments, Manufacturing (Semiconductor, Oil & Gas) and the Government sector. He has worked with government departments (Department of Human Service and Department of Health in Australia) and also with companies such as SONY Electronics, Matsushita Semiconductor, Vetcogray, Redpill Solutions, and Welcome Real-time
